Estimados miembros,

Tengo el agrado de informarles que el Directorio de la revista
europea Astronomy and Astrophysics, en decisión unánime, en su reunión
de Mayo acepto a CHILE en calidad de "Observer Status" hasta el 31 de
Diciembre 2005, solicitud que SOCHIAS hiciera nombre de los astrónomos
chilenos.

Reproduzco aqui parte del mail de Aage Sandqvist,
Chairman del Board de A&A:

"Dear Dr. Rubio:

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the A&A Board of
Directors unanimously voted in favour of admitting Chile with
observer status in A&A until 31 December 2005. During this time there
will be no page charges for Chile to publish in A&A."

tambien muchas publicaciones.
